TON's Floating Buddha Is A 23 Karat Gold Speaker

he serenity that surrounds the Floating Buddha is palpable and the numinous vibe it emits unmistakable. Conceptualized by TON, the Floating Buddha is not just a piece of sculpture representing a spiritual and moral order. In fact, housed discreetly between the Buddha and the box are a set of speakers that can disburse sound and can by used to playback enchanting Buddhist chants or any soothing music. The illusion of the Buddha floating on a bed of light is achieved by invisible acrylic rods that sit on top of an inverted base covered in 23k gold leaf and the two lights pointing at the bottom of the Buddha and on to the internal golden pyramid which contains the four 5" speakers. The 23-karat gold Floating Buddha interprets spirituality in its own experimental way and showcases how art transcends religions, cultures and geographical boundaries.
